The case is protecting the IPod well so far. The band on the arm is a little awkward while swimming but you get use to it; keep it close to the elbow to avoid a rash under the arm. The biggest downside to the whole system is the earplugs (which you buy separately). It is hard to keep those in my ears without leakage of water into the ear. Someone needs to adapt the regular flanged and thick rubber (not the thin ones) earplugs one uses just for swimming for use with earphones. They would fit properly; none of the waterproof earphone sets I’ve tried are really comfortable or fit the ear properly for swimming!

On the plus side: I kayak and canoe and had gotten my MP3 player wet once while in my kayak and had to replace it. I saw this product online and decided to give it a try. I have used this now for a little over a year and it still performs great. I do not have it immersed in the water, but it does get it’s share of splashes and dunks while I am getting in and out of my kayak. I have also dropped it in the water a few times while getting in and out of the kayak and it keeps my MP3 player bone dry so it has more than once saved me the cost to have to have my MP3 replaced. I would HIGHLY recommend this for similar water activities.

On the minus side: It can definitely be difficult to get the MP3 player positioned correctly into the pouch. The headphone jack needs to be in the right place and the touch pad side and screen of the player has to be facing the correct way to be able to see the screen correctly. I also have to agree with an earlier post that it can be difficult to use all of the buttons on the player because of the thickness of the pouch. You also have to be 100% sure that all the seals are secure before getting into the water. I did not have one of the seals completely fastened and the water leaked down to the second seal. Good thing there are 3 seals to be sure water does not get at your electronics.

All and all I think this is a great product for the money. It has saved me hundreds of dollars in the year I have been using it and I would really recommend it to anyone.
