This is a great case. I would like to say first that the title is misleading there is no screen protection or protector with these two skins/cases. That is why I got these and was upset that it said they came with them, that aside these are fantastic skins that are actually for like thin cases, that would help absorb an impact. They are tight and made really well, I doubt they will tear. They are thik though not as thick as the speck cases. THey have nubs on the backto help grip and they cover the ipod well and they will never fall off, they are so tight they are a liitle hard to get off. I have a 7g model classic and it fits like a glove, one of the only cases that truly works on this model, everything else is a little loose.

This case looks totally stunning. The iPod by itself is already a marvel, but with this case it’s even more impressing. Eventually, I’ll buy another one or tow because it’s really cheap.

Furthermore, it perfectly fits my 6G iPod Classic 120Gb.

Although I read that you need to put your brightness to 100% to see more clearly, I can affirm it’s not necessary. It would only use your battery faster. However, I have to admit that in full light, such as sun light, the mirror-like surface will reflect the light, which will decrease the visibility. Still, it’s a perfect product that I would definitely recommend.

This case is perfect. It offers just enough protection (not too much), adding absolutely no extra bulk to the flattering smallness of the Nano, and looking like something that’s integral with the device–not an add-on. Moreover, it’s soft to the touch, and is unlikely to slip or squirt out of hands, whether small children’s or adults’.

I tried the Speck Pixel. Good protection but at a cost to convenience and practicality. It added bulk, making the wheel as well as the post on my charging dock slightly less accessible Not wanted.

I then tried the iClear Sketch, the least satisfying of all–unless you’re compulsively anal enough to seal your Nano into a hard-plastic prophylactic that places you at an additional “remove” from the iPod itself while making the whole Nano more slippery, less accessible, less satisfying to hold and to use. Some people apparently feel this case “looks cool.” I’m more interested in the iPod itself than the case. Definitely a 3rd-place finisher from my perspective.

[I wouldn't say this Griffin case is a "bargain." It's twice as much as the soft Belkin cases I've acquired for a Touch. But I didn't find a comparable Belkin case (yet) for the Nano, and I required a case earlier than the generic inexpensive one would have arrived.]

I’ve purchased 2 of these chargers because they work quite effectively. They also come with an extra USB charging cable that works flawlessly with your iPhone 3G or 3GS. The main car charging unit has a female USB connector as well as a handy replacable fuse just in case you connect it to the wrong voltage or it just wears out.

You must be very careful when selecting a car charger for either your iPod Classic, iPod Nano, iPod Shuffle, iPod Touch, iPhone, iPhone 3G or iPhone 3GS because each and every product has a slightly different voltage that is not necessarily compatible with every charging unit. I went through 3 chargers before I found this one and it performs flawlessly!

To ensure that the car charger is effectively charging your iPhone or iPod, pay attention to the charging icon in the upper righthand corner of the screen. If the icon shows a battery with a lightning symbol in it for longer than 5 minutes, you can be assured it’s charging properly. However, if it shows a plug-in symbol within the charging icon either immediately after you try charging it or after a few minutes, you can be assured that it is NOT compatible nor is it charging your device.

Be aware that if you are charging your iPhone 3G or 3GS and using it heavily, like talking to someone on the phone while surfing the internet, or playing music while using Google Maps, the charging icon in the upper righthand corner will eventually display the plug-in symbol that indicates it’s no longer charging. I bought this hard cover along with a belkin arm band for my 5th generation i-pod Nano, to be honest this case looks great and fits snugly. However I find I may never use it as the belikn arm band comes with it’s own hard case protector that is just as good albeit does not look as good as this one. If your just looking for a stylish hard case that fit’s and looks great then this is your thing. If your going t go to the gym, just buy the belikn arm band and you won’t need another hard case.

I really liked the case. It gives a unique look to my blue nano. I don’t get any scratches like the other reviews. I see where you can get scrathes from opening and closing the case with a coin. But that can be fixed by not opening the case, or just using your nails if they are sturdy enough and you can carefully open up the case.

The only bad thing about the case, is I get lots of scratches on it. And I think I’m pretty careful, but scratches all over the darn thing. But still looks great because it is mirrored. Bought the blue one at best buy too, but this one is soo much better looking. Go Chrome all the way.

I’ve had two of these (I’ll get to that later) and other FM transmitters over the years. I bought this around Christmas ‘08 at Best Buy and it works great.

I work in a town of less than 100K people and drive 35 miles from the country to get there, I often drive to Austin, DFW, and Lubbock with minimal issues. I’ve taken it to Las Vegas and it worked fine. When on a road trip, it is expected that you have to change frequencies a few times. (Like I said, I’ve had many transmitters in the past.)

Since day one around home I’ve put it on 100.3 and left it there. When I turn it off, there is a clear station on that frequency, but it doesn’t interfere with the iPhone when it’s broadcasting. I listen to podcasts, so I do wish it were a bit louder, I’m going to try the 88.1 setting trick. It’s weird that the iPod sounds are low but my notification sounds are really loud.

About having two of them; around 6 months in, the wiring from the screen started to come loose and I was having an issue with it losing the station. I emailed Griffin and they replaced it quickly and painlessly. **The best warranty service ever.**

I have an iPhone 3GS with an Otterbox Defender Case for iPhone 3G, 3G S – White case. When I got the Otterbox, I had to take a fingernail file and shave down one of the sides of the connector to get it to plug in, but I wouldn’t give up either for anything. I do not have an RDS stereo, but I wonder if the quality of the screen text has anything to do with the quality of the metadata from the mp3 files that are being played?

From ‘02 to ‘08 I had a Sirius radios with transmitters, this is much easier to tune and easily the same quality. Back in the iPod days I had a clip on Griffin battery powered transmitter, it was kind of like Mr. Microphone where the iPod had to be within three feet of the antenna to work.

Anyway, I’m very happy with it. In almost 2 years of iPhones and countless years of laptops and iPods, I’ve tried accessories from every major brand. A lot of it was expensive crap. This is not, it’s a quality product. I also had a Griffin Clarifi for iPhone 3G and iPhone 3G S (Black) and a Griffin iClear Case for iPhone 3G and iPhone 3G S they ware great, really. But I feel much safer with my Otterbox.
