it’s surprisingly hard to find a decent case for an ipod touch. i looked at many before settling on this one (DLO jam jacket). the case is rubber and fits securely around the unit but is not ridiculously tight fitting like some other cases. the rubber actually covers the volume, lock, and main buttons … but the rubber is raised in these areas so you can find them and they are easily depressed through the rubber case.

the clip is very sturdy i do not worry about it being dislodged during active use. my only complaint is that unlike a typical clip, it’s not on a rocker, where you would for example push on one side to make the clip open. instead you sort of have to wedge whatever you are clipping onto between the case and the clip. this is awkward if whatever you are clipping onto is not rigid, for example, soft clothing.

echoing other comments, this case will scratch the back on your ipod where the clip attaches inside the case. slip a piece of thick paper or something in there before you insert the unit into the case and all is good.

this also sells for at least less than comparable cases.

overall, great case, i’ll go straight to this brand next time i need one.

The DLO holds my IPOD comfortably in my pocket or on my belt. There is no scratching of the iPod case as can occur with the rigid plastic models. It is lightly padded and that reduces the possibility of “drop shock.” It works well with the Apple ear buds but for thicker mini cables the access hole in the flap is a bit tight. Good product.

I bought this item to protect my iPod while I work out. I have read many reviews of the Apple armband and I happy to report this is a far superior product. I have worn it on the treadmill, bike, and elliptical machine at the gym and my iPod is very secure. The band repels sweat and provides the protection I was seeking. The armband itself is very comfy and easy to adjust, just don’t put it on too tight or you’ll end up with an irritated arm. (As I found out the first time I used it) I would recommend this product to anyone!
