Chill Pill Rap Cap Microphone for iPod Classic, Nano 4G, Touch 2G, and iPhone 3G – Green
I bought this one and also the ThumbTacks brand(also sold at Amazon) and was trying both out. They actually could make a nice combination of two small mics to carry for use with an iPod or iPhone. I have an iPod touch, and compared to something like the Mikey, these DO work and work well. (Mikey does not, yet, work on iPod Touch.) Compared to this one, the RapCap, the ThumbTack one records as a very low level of sensitivity. It likely would work best for recording memos to yourself. If you want to record a talk by someone else and capture more sound in the room, this one here, the RapCap, has a much greater sensitivity level (which matters a lot since I see no way on the iPod Touch itself to adjust sensitivity levels). So, this RapCap seems better for many uses, but the ThumbTack one would be good for personal voice memos.
If I only carry one mic to use with my iPod Touch (and these are awfully small anyway), it will be this one, the RapCap. It has excellent sound and sensitivity for many types of uses.
